Community Family Event: The Club hosted a very successful family day on Bank Holiday Monday at the park with a huge crowd in attendance. The highlight of the afternoon was the presence of the Liam MacCarthy Cup which was the focus of great interest. The Club would like to sincerely thank Battie & Jacqui Gibbons and their staff in Centra who sponsored a free barbeque and refreshments for everyone and organised the attendance of the Cup. Thank you to the young hurlers from Ballinamore, Manorhamilton and Carrick-on-Shannon and their coaches for putting on a great display of hurling, many thanks to all the club members who helped out with catering and children’s events, thanks to Alan Foley & Aidan McKeon who took photographs and special thanks also to Paul Gibbons who provided musical entertainment.
